Its innovative all-season compound is molded into an asymmetric tread design, engineered to minimize road noise and ensure a serene ride. The large outer tread blocks deliver superior grip and cornering stability on dry roads, while the continuous solid center rib promotes a steady, on-center feel, enhancing straight-line performance during acceleration and braking. Four wide circumferential grooves, paired with lateral notches and open shoulder slots, efficiently channel water to improve wet traction and reduce the risk of hydroplaning. Nitto’s 3D Multiwave sipe technology interlocks the tread block sipes for added stability and introduces extra biting edges for improved traction on slippery surfaces. Additionally, the siping and the independent shoulder tread blocks, combined with transverse notches in the central tread, ensure effective performance in light snow.
