P Zero Corsa (PZC4)

The P Zero Corsa (PZC4) is a high-performance tire from Pirelli, blending insights from Formula 1 racing to create a Streetable Track & Competition option for some of the world's most powerful vehicles. Initially developed as Original Equipment for models like the Ferrari F12tdf and McLaren 570GT/570S, this tire offers impressive on-track performance while maintaining the practicality needed for driving to and from the track. However, Pirelli's warranty excludes coverage for compound cracking caused by exposure to temperatures below 45°F (7°C). As a summer tire, the P Zero Corsa (PZC4) is unsuitable for cold weather, snow, or icy conditions.

The tire features two motorsport-inspired tread compounds, positioned side-by-side in an asymmetric, low-void design. The outer shoulder compound is engineered for maximum performance, durability, and stability under high heat and stress, while the inner shoulder compound enhances grip at high speeds. The asymmetric tread pattern is optimized for dry conditions, with large outer tread blocks and a nearly continuous center rib providing precise handling, strong lateral acceleration, and stability at high speeds. The inner tread rib and stiff shoulder design contribute to sharp steering responsiveness and a sporty aesthetic. While three wide grooves help resist hydroplaning, the shallow initial tread depth (8/32" or less) and dry-biased pattern increase the risk of hydroplaning at high speeds on wet roads. Drivers should reduce speed and exercise caution in such conditions.
