The Ventus V2 concept2 (H457) is Hankook’s High Performance All-Season tire, designed for drivers of sports sedans, sports coupes, and mid-level sports cars seeking stylish design and reliable performance year-round. Engineered to deliver both dynamic handling and versatile traction, the Ventus V2 concept2 performs effectively in dry, wet, and light snow conditions.

This tire incorporates a silica-enhanced, high-grip tread compound that balances all-season performance with reduced rolling resistance, contributing to improved fuel efficiency. The directional tread design features a continuous center rib, interlocking intermediate blocks, and notched shoulders, enhancing steering responsiveness and braking ability. Wide circumferential grooves and a V-shaped tread pattern efficiently channel water away from the contact area to improve wet-road traction and reduce the risk of hydroplaning. Additionally, the inclusion of 3D intermediate tread blocks, shoulder block notches, and strategically designed sipes provides extra biting edges for better grip in adverse weather.

The tire’s internal structure includes two wide steel belts, reinforced with spirally wrapped high-density nylon to maintain consistent pressure distribution for enhanced cornering and handling. High-hardness bead fillers in the sidewalls further support precise steering feedback and stability.

    Very Favorable

Best performing “all season” tire money can buy. I say all season with a grain of salt. I would not run these year round if you have to drive when it snows. I will say for ex, if you were at work and it started snowing an hour or so before you left you would make it home fine. The snow function does diminish rapidly with age, anything beyond 7/32 mark or about 70% life left I wouldn’t run them in snow. Lifespan overall is excellent, i drive very hard and do mostly city miles and these last about as long as most summer touring tires do but provide much better cornering and grip performance than any touring or all season tire will. I would classify this tire, not as a max performance or ultra high performance tire, instead as a performance to borderline high performance tire that has mild snow capability. These will not perform as good as the V12 which is Hankook’s true Max Performance tire but I would say they are about 75-80% of the V12 but 40-50% longer tread wear. Overall these are a great tire and are a phenomenal value for the money.
